Comprehensive Secondary School Serinya is proud to have hosted an exceptional Music, Dance, and Drama competition on the 4th of November 2023, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of our students. This year’s theme, “A Struggle Against Immorality,” inspired our students to present thought-provoking and entertaining performances. The event saw enthusiastic participation from four spirited houses: Achebe, Darwin, Napoleon, and Newton. After a day filled with incredible acts, it was Darwin House that emerged as the winner, displaying exceptional dedication and teamwork.
Set Piece:
The event kicked off with the Set Piece performances. Each house’s team demonstrated their dramatic prowess by delving into the theme, portraying the struggle against immorality. The creativity and storytelling abilities were simply awe-inspiring.
Traditional Folk Song:
Our students’ vocal talents took center stage as they rendered traditional folk songs with incredible finesse. The audience was transported to a world of rich cultural heritage, where the fight against immorality was portrayed through melodious tunes.
Play, Poem, and Creative Dance:
The day continued with captivating plays, emotionally charged poems, and mesmerizing creative dance routines. These performances not only entertained the audience but also delivered powerful messages, emphasizing the importance of moral values and ethics in our lives.
Grand Finale:
After hours of exhilarating performances, it was time to crown the champion. The house that stood out throughout the competition with their artistic brilliance and unity was Darwin House. Their dedication and commitment to the theme and their flawless execution earned them the coveted first place.
